Darrell Peart

Darrell Peart was born in Wenatchee Washington (1950) and
currently resides in Seattle Washington with his wife Terry. He has three
children and six grandchildren. He has written for Home Furniture, Today's Woodworker, Fine Woodworking, Woodwork, Popular Woodworking, American Woodworker, Woodworker West, and Style 1900 magazines. His first book, "Greene and Greene: Design Elements for the Workshop" was published in April 2006 by Linden Press. He is currently at work on his second book to be published in 2013. Along with designing, building, and writing about furniture, Darrell also teaches woodworking and furniture design at various locations throughout the United States. In 2011 Darrell was voted on to the board of directors of the Friends of the Thorsen House (FOTH). ( Restoration effort of one of Greene& Greene's Ultimate Bungalows) His work has appeared in various galleries; has been featured in both local and national newspapers, magazines, and books; and in private collections throughout the US.
